Wholesale Policy Terms

WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS ONLY:
Accounts must be valid automotive related business. We reserve the right to refuse any account.

NEW CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS:
New customers are CREDIT CARD or C.O.D. until we authorize them for checks. Use ACH-Fax voided company check for check payment by phone to Avoid C.O.D. charges.

C.O.D. CHARGES AS FOLLOWS:

UPS: $10.00 per box-company checks & money order - plus current ground rates.

LOCAL DELIVERY CHARGES AS FOLLOWS:

Free Delivery: on orders of $100.00 or more, on orders of $100.00 or less a delivery charge of $5.00 will be added. Excludes DRP customers.

UPS NO LONGER ACCEPTS CASH

FEDEX GROUND: $12.00 per box for any C.O.D. An additional $34.00 per box for cash - plus current ground rates.

FREIGHT PREPAID on all orders over $2,000 in most states. Regular ground service only. Excludes overnight delivery. Carolinas Auto Supply House DOES NOT PAY Re-Delivery Charges, Re-Consignment Charges or Residential Charges on ANY Freight Shipment. All freight orders under $2,000 must be verified by customer prior to shipment (Same Day Shipping Guarantee Exclusion)

All items are guaranteed against defects for 90 days unless otherwise stated by Carolinas Auto Supply House.
No gasket can be returned once seals are broken.


WARRANTIES:
Warranty is void on Cylinder Heads if Heat Tab is melted.

Warranty on Electrical parts and Compressors is Exchange Only NOTE: Compressor warranty void if drier is not replaced with each new (or rebuilt) compressor installed. Requires proof of purchase.

RETURNABLE ITEMS:
No gaskets can be returned once seals are broken.

Items are returnable within 30 DAYS with full money back (excluding shipping and handling charges), and MUST BE IN RESALABLE CONDITION. All returned items, including defective merchandise, must include copy of invoice or packing slip, in original box if applicable and shipped pre-paid.

Any item returned after 30 days is subject to a Restocking Fee as follows:

NOTE: All returns will be issued as credit to account. If customer requests refund, Carolinas will have to assume that the customer will no longer be doing business with our company.

LABOR CLAIMS:
CAROLINAS AUTO SUPPLY HOUSE, INC. Does Not Pay Labor Claims

SHIPPING ERRORS:
Shipping errors will be handled on an individual basis. Please contact your sales representative for assistance.

All shortages, misshipments or damaged goods must be reported to Carolinas Auto Supply House WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIVING ORDER.
Exception: Sheet Metal must be inspected before signed for at delivery.

C.O.D. OR BUS SHIPMENTS:
Carolinas Auto Supply House does not accept C.O.D. or bus shipments.

SPECIAL ORDERS:
All Special Orders are NON-RETURNABLE.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
When items are out of stock, they will be BACK ORDERED and automatically processed if it becomes available within 7 days of original order date. It is the customer’s responsibility to cancel a back order within this 7 day period if the product is no longer desired. Back orders under $25.00 are automatically cancelled.

RETURNED CHECK FEE:
Returned Check Fee: $35.00

CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACK:
Credit Card Charge back will result in permanent termination of account.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS:
Refused Shipments are charged $20.00 per Box and customer is returned to credit card/cash in advance status only for order following refusal. In some instances, when shipping charges are greater than $20.00, customer will be charged for applicable shipping charges.

MSDS SHEETS:
MSDS sheets are shipped with your initial order. If you don’t receive one, please check availability on our MSDS page, or contact us at sales@autosupplyhouse.com or visit www.autosupplyhouse.com.

PRIVACY POLICY: Carolinas respects our customer’s privacy. We do not sell, rent or share our customer lists with any third party.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER RETURNS: When a catalytic converter is installed due to a MIL or “check engine light” illumination, and the new converter fails to remedy the problem, it may be that the converter was not the cause of the problem originally. There are over 1,200 diagnostic codes which trigger the MIL or the “check engine light.” Only eight (8) of those codes deal with the right and left converters operating below efficiency. Documentation from a trained mechanic indicating the code number designation, diagnostic details, and repair must be included with returned converter to obtain credit.

REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST: To be removed from our mailing list, cut out the mailing label area from the circular you have received and mail or fax it to Carolinas Auto Supply House - Attention: Advertising. Because of our advertising cycle please allow up to 12 weeks for deletion to take place.
